Stomio October 2022 (v2.2) is released! This release marks a new milestone in our journey by introducing our first platform integration.

New Features

This release comes with our very first integration: Zoom!

(1) Schedule Zoom calls from Stomio

You can now schedule a Zoom call with your testers right from Stomio. Once the admin connects Stomio to Zoom, you’ll notice a new icon in your tickets. Clicking on the video icon enables you to start a Zoom call with the testers in that ticket or schedule a call in the future. Your tester will be able to join the call through their Stomio account as well! Find out more in this how-to post.

(2) Tester Beta Acceptance

Testers with accounts on Stomio will see an accept button on a new beta they’re invited to in addition to accepting via email invitation. This makes the opt-in more explicit on the tester side

Improvements

This release continues on the improvements in navigation and overall customer experience

(1) Updated Tasks page

Task page has a minor facelift by making task cards more easy to stack and easier to highlight the Task you’re working on. Preview and Template buttons are now easier to find

(2) Updated Comms page

Similar to the Tasks page, the Comms page is now more refined and easier to navigate. Filters are hidden under a dropdown with clear selection criteria

(3) Filters

Filters are hidden under a dropdown with clear selection criteria and easier way to unapply a filter

(4) Improved Security

We are drastically improving our platform security following industry standards. Stay tuned for more news on this front

Bug Fixes

We continue to fix bugs observed by our QA test, our customer engagements, and our demos

(1) Fixed a number of bugs related to Zoom integration. Thanks Zoom team for the help!

(2) Fixed a number of corner cases and behavioral items related to the new design
